Dr Mike Maunder is a strategic advisor to Eden Project International, a board member for the National Tropical Botanical Garden and Visiting Fellow at the Global Systems Institute, University of Exeter. He has served as Director for both The Kampong and Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden in Miami. He studied horticulture at the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, and received his MSc and PhD with RBG Kew and the University of Reading. Over the past 30 years Mike has established a worldwide reputation in the fields of plant conservation, biodiversity, and tropical horticulture. Mike has worked in the UK, the USA, and a range of other countries - particularly in East Africa, the Middle East, and the Caribbean.
