Kate Farley

Kate Farley is an Assistant Scientist at the William L. Brown Center at the Missouri Botanical Garden. She has a PhD in cultural anthropology from Washington University in St Louis. Her research focuses on ginseng harvesting and conservation in southern Appalachia, and is interested more broadly in rural livelihoods and environmental justice.
